Welcome to the City of Oshkosh Employment Page. We only accept online applications and only for positions that are currently posted below. Once you have created or logged into your account, click on the "Apply" link located to the right of the job title for which you wish to apply. Unless otherwise indicated, all positions remain posted at least two weeks or until final candidates have been selected, whichever is longer. Status updates will be emailed to applicants as information becomes available.

Online applications are stored on a secure site and only authorized staff and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted. The provisions contained in job notices do not constitute an expressed or implied contract. Starting salaries will be determined by Human Resources and the hiring department. Eligibility lists may be used on a periodic basis for certain positions and names pulled off the list as vacancies occur. If you are placed on an eligibility list, you may not be contacted for several months.

Citizenship:

In order to work for the City of Oshkosh, you must have the legal right to work in the U.S without sponsorship. Upon hire, employees will be asked to present acceptable proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States.

Medical Examination:

A medical examination, which may include a drug screen and/or physical examination, may be required before hire or promotion into certain positions. The City of Oshkosh is committed to a drug and alcohol free workplace.
